Hero’s Discover SCUBA

If you are a First Responder (Police, Firefighter, or EMS) and want to try scuba diving, but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, Discover Scuba is for you.

Requirements

To sign up for a PADI Discover Scuba experience, you must be at least 10 years old. No prior experience with scuba diving is necessary, but you need to be in reasonable physical health and comfortable in the water. A medical waiver is required for all participants and will be provided to you for completion when you sign up.

What You’ll Do

You’ll learn the basic safety guidelines and skills needed to dive under the direct supervision of a Thin Blue Dive or Adapt-Able Foundation professional PADI Divemaster or Instructor. Get ready to:

• Go over the scuba equipment you use to dive and how easy it is to move around underwater with your gear.
